The 3 complete braid styles you will learn in our 2 day workshop will be:

• Cornrows 
• Box braid 
• Knotless Braids (feed-in-method)

with and without hair extensions

Day 1

Our aim for the day will be to create a full look that incorporates both the cornrow and box braid styles 

We will begin by focusing on braiding the hair with no addition of hair extensions or hair pieces. 

We will look at methods and best practices related to how you position your body, fingers, hands to help you to create and achieve the best finish on your braid work

We will talk through the key tools and products to use for braiding and finishing the braids

Day 2 

Our aim for the day is to create a complete still incorporating the cornrow and knotless Box braid techniques with hair extensions.

We will go through the hair extension preparation process focusing on:

- how to work with the Expressions hair extensions

- cutting extensions to match the desired length

- braid 'pull out' technique for feathering the ends of the braids 

 - Color 'blending' technique for creating your own color tones 

Sectioning techniques for patterns and designs

Understanding how to work out the best ratio of the hair to the extension hair 

 Methods and techniques of attaching the hair extensions using the feed-in-braid technique

We will continue to build on the body, hands and finger positioning covered in Day 1 to create and achieve the best finish on your braid work.

Setting techniques for finishing the ends of the braids with a straight finish or curled ends using hot water
